The Palmetto Wind Ensemble

The Palmetto Wind Ensemble, or PWE, is the only academic performance opportunity for band students at Palmetto High School. Students receive class credit for the band class that they take during the school year. Students who take the class a 3rd time (or more) will recieve honors credit. The Wind Ensemble has had high levels of success in recent years, including performing grade IV music at festivals, and recieving the first Superior with Distinction in Program History in 2025.
